Calvary Ministries is also known as CAPRO – which is the original name at inception. CAPRO stands for Calvary Production. The name Calvary Ministries was adopted in 1975 during official registration as a non-profit organisation. We retained the CAPRO acronym as our brand identity since most people already know us by that name.

No. CAPRO is not a Church denomination. CAPRO is a non-denominational cross-cultural mission agency. We plant independent, contextual, self-governed, self-propagating and self-financed churches among verified unreached people groups.

Every born again, committed and obedient disciple of Jesus Christ who feels called to serve in CAPRO, and is fully persuaded about the claims and mandate of Matthew 28:19-20.
