About Us
how we go
We go into all the world – Matt 28:18
Our Operational Strategy
Our operational strategy is embedded in Jesus’ command to go into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature, make disciples of all nations, and teach all to observe and obey all His commandments.
As we go to the Nations in obedience to the great commandment and the great commission, we engage in diverse strategic ministries such as:
Research & Strategy
Quantitative and qualitative research information and data is key for our ministry operations. We require relevant and critical data for all our strategic engagements, decision-making process, organisational planning and growth. Relevant data informs how we allocate and manage resources; pitch mission awareness and mobilisation engagements; prioritise pioneer church-planting ministry; evaluate and monitor all our strategic advance etc.
Our International Research team supports and coordinates research efforts in all our country of operation. We are involved in Unreached People Group Research, Organisational Research and Church Growth Research.
We have a rich compendium of research data about the unreached people groups we work among, especially for people groups in anglophone and francophone West Africa, Central Africa, Horn of Africa, East Africa, South Africa. Some of this UPG data have been documented, published and made accessible to other missions and the wider body of Christ.
For information and data of unengaged, unreached people groups please visit our resource page or email your request to info@capro.global
There is opportunity for you to volunteer your hard and soft skill sets including aptitude for research and strategy development, data science, statistics, data design, analytics and management skills etc. We also have a place for you if all you have is a daring spirit to discover new lands and open up uncharted territories for church-planting among unengaged unreached people groups.

Cross-Cultural Evangelism & Church Planting
The fulcrum of our ministry is cross-cultural evangelism and Church Planting. Our commitment to Cross-Cultural evangelism and Church planting drives everything else that Calvary Ministries does. At the heart of our multifaceted operations is the commitment to have the gospel preached to those who have not heard. We adopt and use proven, relevant and contextual approaches until new churches are planted among identified, well researched unengaged unreached people groups. Our Church Planting Strategy follows the New Testament approach. We focus on multiplying independent, indigenous and culturally relevant churches among the people group we serve, until they become self-governed, self-propagating, and self-financed.
Our history and wealth of experience in cross-cultural ministry has positioned CAPRO as a key source of resource for contextual ministry among unreached people groups. We have Church planting teams in 46 countries. We have planted 300 viable and contextual churches among over 122 previously unreached people groups. Some of our church plants are in their second and third generation. They are now fully in the hands of local elders while we provide apostolic oversight. Some of these local churches are now sending second generation workers to plant churches among other neighbouring people groups.
To serve with CAPRO as a ‘Cross-Cultural Evangelist’ or ‘Church-Planter’, you will need a cross-cultural mission training in one of our schools of mission to prepare you.

Advocacy & Mobilisation
As a faith mission, we are committed to the vital work of mobilisation. We identify with Jesus concerning the imbalance that exists between the state of the harvest and the availability of critical resources. We advocate for unengaged unreached people groups; we bring awareness of missions and create opportunities for involvement of the wider body of Christ. The plight of the unengaged, unreached and evangelised people of our world needs to be heard long enough within the courts of the Church until great commission disciples are raised and deployed.
We work with the Church to ensure that Kingdom resources are channelled for kingdom advance. Our mobilisation teams actively engage and serve the body of Christ. We offer missions consultation and short training courses at various level of engagement for Church leaders, Church Mission Boards, local church congregations, across entire denominations and for church organisations as well. We also organise conferences, seminars, workshops and missions exhibitions.
Calvary Ministries is very open to partnership opportunities and collaborative engagements with mission-minded churches and church organisations. Local church congregations or Christian organisations can choose to adopt CAPRO as their Mission Agency. They can adopt an Unreached People Group, specific mission field(s), mission project(s) or specific missionary(ies) including individual(s) or family(ies). Missionaries are constantly in need of prayer, moral encouragement, financial and material support.
We offer cross-cultural, rural and urban missions consultation to Church leaders and church Mission Boards. We offer mission awareness and exhibitions to churches, fellowships, Christian groups and during conferences etc. To book a cross-cultural mission consultant, mobiliser or speaker, please go to book a speaker page.
